God has already provided His healing power and placed it on the inside of every born-again believer. It is up to us to release it. Understanding and using our authority is the key to seeing miracles happen. Look at how Peter and John ministered healing to the lame man in Acts 3:1-8: “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the C. Clinging to God in our brokenness is the key to power with God and with others. When Jacob clings to the Lord and demands that He bless him, the Lord gives him a new name. To the Hebrews, the name reflects the character. So God, speaking prophetically, gives Jacob a new character: Instead of Jacob, he is to become Israel. Your hands are desirable to God because you “remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant. . .” (Deuteronomy 8:18). Paul assures the Philippians that their sacrificial giving will not go unnoticed by God. He promises that God will meet all their needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. When we trust God enough to give sacrificially, we open ourselves up to His abundant provision. The Beginning of the Covenantal Story. The covenantal story began when God created humans in his image to partner with him in spreading goodness throughout the world.
